Shade: Wrath of Angels

Just played the second demo, and I must say this game looks and plays great! Game is due any day now, be sure to check that demo out atleast.

dude that is one hell of a find, excellent lighting, super smooth engine, locked it to vsync on my TFT, sat at 60fps the whole way through ! combat is excellent, I like the way its handled. one to check out for sure when its out.

wow that looks great, what kind of game is it tho? is it straight up shooter? adventure or a bit of rpg?

Parts of it remind me of Tomb Raider (when it was good), but the fighting side is actually well handled. Its well worth a look, I am very impressed with the way it plays and the graphics are excellent.

incidentally for those in the UK who are interested, www.play.com are selling it for half price at £17.99, free delivery, ive just ordered it.

I'm glad you seem to like it, I for sure love that demo... Like you say, it sure has some Tomb Raider in it, from the old days when Tomb Raiden was fun.

Another cool thing is the physics engine they use. It's the meqon engine, recently licensed by 3D realms for the, dare I say, *hrm* upcoming Duke Nukem Forever. Meqon seems to do the job quite nicely.
