Upcoming racer Juiced unaffected by Acclaim’s bankruptcy.

As most know, [COLOR=Lime]Acclaim has filed for Chapter 7 recently, effectively declaring bankruptcy. [/COLOR] Thankfully, [COLOR=Yellow]Juiced[/COLOR] will be unaffected by this development as it was financed and managed by development funding firm [COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]Fund 4 Games. [/COLOR] No doubt Fund 4 Games will simply seek a new publisher for [COLOR=Yellow]Juiced[/COLOR], though there have been no announcements pertaining to which publishers they’re going to look at.

Acclaim go under doesn't hurt me. They weren't that great. I feel bad for the employees, but the company itself is quite terrible. EA? EA is a mixed bag. They've done some great work as a developer and a publisher, but they've also done some pretty crappy stuff. Buying out a company isn't always a bad thing either, it can also save them and their good IP (Intellectual Property).

P.S - Check out this possible Take-Two Acquisition of Juiced article here which was tentative, but now THQ has picked up Juiced

I would have prefered [COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]Take 2 by far[/COLOR]. They seem to have a [COLOR=Lime]better record [/COLOR] of churning out rad games, even if they have done far fewer titles that [COLOR=Orange]THQ[/COLOR].
