Greetings, fellow board members(I've always wanted to say that!).

The reason I've started this thread is because of the potential we all have to destroy one of the greatest things we've grown to love - our XBOX.

I didn't know they were scanning HDD's for it now...how pretensious of them.

Yeah, they've been doing this from the start. Live IDs every Xbox connected by the HD serial; that's why when you get banned from Live(for whatever reason) all you have to do is get a new HD or new serial number for it. Main reason I never messed with mine

The XBOX I've been using for MechAssault and a couple other games isn't modded either, which explains why it never happened to me.

Maybe I'll just use my mod to play SP and MP with some friends...

the only mods ive seen are the soft mods...my friends are too cheap for hardware ones

I've seen someone do a soft mod through MechAssault...it was strange. I don't quite understand how they work. But I heard they work just as well..just not for a mass amount of games or mp3's, movies, etc., etc.
