if you are getting an error at the end of the install that is stateing a temp file is missing then it is a wide spread problem that alot of people are haveing.if you get this error then you are also going to have random read issue were your drive wont read the disk.ea says it is a safedisk problem and there should be some firmware updates for all the drives that are haveing problems.it took me three tries to get the dvd version to install right.i also have to run the game in my slave drive because my msi drive will not read the disk at all.later

PS:i didnt realize i was quoting a reply to a quote of a reply to a message from me

Wow~ What can I say about this game? The last MOH game was Allied Assault and I never beat it. I was too taken by RTCW's awesome MP. So what can I say about MOH: PA? Awesome. Everything appears so polished, sound, graphics and gameplay. EA has done a great job.

Is it perfect? Nope. Collision detection problems are quite evident, but it doesn't take you out of the game. What I've noticed is how smooth the game is. I keep expecting slow down when there's heavy gunfire and crap is blowing up everywhere, but I don't get it. Level load times are problematic, but at least you're entertained with MOH:PA's brilliant musical score and slideshows.

I enjoy the voice acting. It's very well done, and I give great kudos to them for their work. The voices are kinda annoying when they say the same things over and over again, but it's something you can overlook. Weapons, explosions and atmospheric sound effects are top notch and is certainly deserving of the THX certification.

For those who played the demo and thought the game was trash, disregard the demo and try the full version. Just awesome. Better than HL2? To me the overall polish really impressed me and I'm enjoying it more than HL2. It could be due to the fact that I enjoy WWII stuff. But, hey I'm a sci-fi fan too, but HL2 wasn't as well polished for me.

If you're looking for something brand spanking new, it's not here. If you're looking for a great game to show off visually and audio wise, this is it. A greatly polished shooter for the masses, just entertain the masses for a few minutes while the game loads

8.8/10

P.S - The DVD extras are quite nice. Something that all games released on DVD should contain. Extras show effort and care for a product, and it looks like EA really did care a great deal for MOH:PA.

I've just gotten back into playing this game again...I forgot about it after starting Half Life 2 but now I decided to finally give it another spin...

I forgot how good this game actually was...I just finished the Pearl Harbor section and wow was that a lot of fun...the graphics are much improved over all the other Medal of Honor games...

the only negative part is the clunky control system that takes a little getting used to....whenever I crouch down I can't just get back up by hitting the "crouch" key again, instead I have to hit another "Stand Up" key...also there seems to be no AA or AF settings in the game...very unusual for a modern game

Man, Wow, how did I miss this game!!!!!!!!!!!! I just started playing it, and I'm really engulfed and fasinated with this game, so far. I was in the Marines and stationed at kaneohe Marine Corps Air Station, so I visited the U.S.S. Arizona when I was there!

This game really made me feel like I was experiencing Pearl Harbor! This is so great!!!!!!!!!

I think this is one of the best war simulation gemes I ever saw, and I played Allied Assault, COD, COD United Offensive, BlackHawk Down, and Brothers in Arms , and a few others. This one shines as good as all of them, and I'm just at the beginning!!!!!!!!!!

Even a glimpse of the Presidents Drill Team!!!!!!!!!!!!! The weopons fire great to me, and it's the 1st game where I see we can use Motors ( now aint that cool?). And as for some of those people who seemed to be putting down this game and the single player Demo because of the mouse lag deal, those people sound ridiculous to me. Must not be Americans. This game is very kick butt!! and I've just started it. Even the way they used the boot camp environment for training is cool!!!!!!!

Good thing I decided to check this out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think i am going to give this game another go.i kinda cut it short because i had some install issues on my system and ea bumbed me out about it.it ended up being a safedisk issue that was fixed in the first patch.

peace out
