my big day is almost here guys! MGS3!

man i cannot freakin wait anymore, well i'm not gonna go down to EB if its open at 12 AM and unfortunately i cant take the day off for this game.

supposedly is the ending to the metal gear solid series, but now they say there will be a mgs4, i doubt it will be 4 but still will be a continuation.

i played the demo and its just amazing, the fire effects are the best i have seen in any game, the environments have so much detail that so many games just can't do. but the main question i want answered, who are the patriots and is this really big boss and NOT solid snake?

Man, after playing mgs2 for ps2, and beating it, the story just kind left you hanging ya know? My jaw dropped after going through the credits and the codec came back up ;-)

yea i was very much expecting that after seeing the end of metal gear solid, but not the patriots being dead for 100 years

at the time, metal gear solid 2 was given the largest hollywood movie treatment ever which made it that much more awesome. this one looks much more based on the relationship of snake and the boss. so many things look obvious to happen, but the director hideo kojima will highly likely pull something insane. people didn't like mgs2's plot because it was so confusing, it takes a few times to understand fully IMO, i completely understand everything.

its just as big of a wait that HL2 was for lot of people on this forum, but i know for a fact i will experience lots of framerate issues

they should continue on though with mgs4 the storyline from mgs2. Id like to know wtf is going on and why have they been dead for the past 100 years, yet still funding?

I agree... I hope they also give the tittle to Xbox cause I don't like Sony and the MG 2 indeed let me down and regret waiting for it.. So I don't care about the MGS 3 just because of what they did back then.. If I know they will make the game better and also expand it to xbox would be perfect... Now about the graphics of the game I doupt they are so amazing cause I know the limits of PS 2... So the fire that you say was so amazing cant be cause it was just a tricky effect and not a fire that a real game can give you... It's all about HL 2 tonight... MG died on PS 2.. Shame on them...

funny how mgs2 was praised on the PS2 and PSX and NOT on xbox. it makes no sense sending it there, why don't we send halo directly to PC just because the hardware is superior, the formula is set out for xbox. xbox doesnt have many original titles which have set standards. the xbox controller just didnt fit mgs2, nor did the gamecube controller (TTS was a good game excluding controls and FPS issues). mgs did not die on ps2, if it did thats why millions are awaiting its release and the answers to the story. if your one of those people that are whining about how confusing the S3 theory was, play it again and listen closely instead of holding Y or triangle through the codec conversation.

and i forgot what site said, but they said MGS3 is so graphically stunning that its a feat even for the xbox.

cant wait for MGS3, but im afraid i have too. its one of my Xmas gifts so i gotta wait a month and a half for it...
and yes, mgs3 is a graphical masterpiece.

kojima said it is impossible to get the game running at 60 fps with all that detail and environment, and it uses ragdoll physics. the game definitely doesnt feel as fast, but is extremely realistic. many elements put splinter cell to absolute shame
