Unlisted races in NFSU2? Use world map mode to find them.

Just realized an alternate method of starting races in this game. You can also use this to find any races that are not listed on your map screen by using the World Map.

From the main menu, choose Career Mode > Resume Career but before you choose Return to Explore Mode, sidescroll to the World Map icon. There it lists all the races in each level, and whether you have completed the race or not. I found at least 20 races in there that I could not find otherwise (in spite of an entire hour cruising the city looking for any). Anyhow, you can launch the race right from the world race map, and save a lot of time and frustration driving around looking for those unlisted races.

After the race you will be allowed to save, after which you will find yourself back in explore mode, but you cannot reenter the World Map from there (you have to go back to Main Menu to get back to the world race map)

anyway just thought I'd post this in case anybody else had gotten stuck with no races at the end of level 3 like I did.

omg, I didn't know that either.. hahahaha! I been starting to get real bored driving around finding races, lol.

A few people on another forum I posted this at were having trouble finding the "right" World Map.

Here is what you should see:

At the bottom of the pic in the second link you will see a button called "Select Event" (that is how you launch the race without actually driving to it).

Pretty confusing I guess, cause the "in game" world map is completely different from the "garage menu" world map. 2 completely different maps with the same name.
