What Morrowind mods do you use?

For anybody who still plays morrowind, what mods do you use/recommend? I found a great mod site from rage3d at http://www.mwmythicmods.com/telesphoros.htm#12

There are so many mods for this game, and I'm too lazy to try them all

It was a while ago that I played it, but back then it was a great thing to have the Adventurers mod package. It improves some things in the game and balances others.

A 'must have' is the Morrowind FPS Optimizer tool, that runs in the background and adjusts the view distance slider depending on the current FPS. It also comes with a few other useful functions.

I also remember using some mods that gave better face graphics, wich is nice because many standard game face models are really ugly. I think some was included in the Adventurers package.

I've been playing around with the 'darker morrowind' graphic replacer and it's amazing. Along with better fireplaces and the complete lighting mod, the graphics (especially indoors and towns) are ten fold better.

I used to use that optimizer, but it would randomly crash the game straight to the desktop...since removing it, I haven't seen the problem. I was using an older version though, so I'll give it another shot.

Sounds cool. If I am to give this game a run again in the future a graphics improvement would be a well needed boon. I'll make a note of it.

...I've still got a folder of the mods i install everytime i setup morrowind, these mods are all ones that take care to enhance the game without destroying what little balance there is.

There have been other mods i've used but i don't use them in this my mark up set either because they were unbalancing, or they had compatibility issues....or they were just lost to my general lack of organization

Edit: There are other mods that are fun to play around with, like the AVP mod, and there are other mods (like a couple of face mods), that i had at one time, but was never able to find again.
