Nexus: The Jupiter Incident

I picked this game up after a few good reviews in magazines primarily because I liked the concept and the way it worked.

its really excellent. Fans of space games should check it out, its very playable and the graphics are gorgeous too.

Seems refreshingly different from the meainstream games. Have you reached a level where you get to control a whole fleet of ships and is it still fun and manageable at that point? I'm going to have to try it some day, but have just started to nudge into BFME so it's hard to keep up.

Yeah its quite refreshing, I will say that. the game flows well and while its not overly tactical there is a certain amount of strategy involved. I love the engine, its super smooth and gives a great feeling of being in space.

As for battle field middle earth, yeah its good too, gets a tad monotonous after a while but enjoyable.

Vasot is on a distinguished road

Well i have already finished these game (it' already in Europe since November)

The graphics are Great
and the first missions are SUPERB

but latest missions sucks !!! also the end is somehow lame
probably the creators rushed to finish the game so the last mission were somehow Crappy compared to the first game missions...(in the last missions you Fight a bunch of stupid Balls -like Star Trek BORGS- called A.I in the game that can only be disabled not destroyed...anyway the last missions were LAME )

Generaly the game is very good if you love Homeworld type of games but it feels small and the last missions are not so good created\scripted....

A great feauture is that it has a MAP EDITOR and Modification tools to create your own game

Well here in Greece it was released before a month,
maybe you just didn't notice it

Are you Fighting the A.I (with the not so good and mostly lame missions ) or are you still with the Gorg war missions (the best part of the game in my opinion) ???

Well, here I am the 'johnny-come-lately' on this topic.

First of all, this game was originally titled: "Imperium Galactica III"

Then the developer went kaput and someone else picked it up and gave it a new name: "Galaxy Andromeda"

I had mentioned and posted links to the original demo for IG III and it's truly a gorgeous demo. In fact, for the longest time I would run the movie demo as a screensaver type app just because it's so gorgeous.

I had lost complete track of the game over a year ago when I first found out it was being picked up with the 2nd title. When Z posted about this some months ago (under the latest title), I totally did not recognize it as having any relation to the game I'd been following for so long.

As for the comments about the later missions being disappointing: Perhaps that's due to so many delays, restarts, etc. They likely decided they'd better get it out the door before anything else happened.

Anyway, I'm going to be looking for this game in the next couple of days. If it's not too much, I'll pick it up just for the immersive and gorgeous space scenery.

It has Great graphics but the Campaign is small and the last missions suck..
(the missions that you fight the AI and AI droids completely destroy the experience)

The Multiplayer is ok but nothing so special

Also the game feels dead
It's community is dead with only a small part of mods available and in multiplayer

I have finished it before months and there is nothing new to make me play again with it

It's a small game with little replay value unfortunately

Ooh well i guess i will wait for X2 Reunion for playing again with a "space evniroment" game

This game looks cool, although I would like to see a mmorpg utilizing spaceships! hehe, I'll leave now.
