I loved Medal Of Honour (except for the tame ending) and I'm looking forward to Spearhead.
I'm currently playing four different games so I think I'd better wrap a couple of those up before buying Spearhead!

I had the Full working version of [Medal of Honor Allied Assaut Spearhead Expansion Pack (C) Electronic Arts ] sence nov/12/2002..
I just re did my system and was real busy the last few days to try it out.. should be a neat add on..

im very impressed with the game, seems they have overhauled some of the graphics as well. the first level on the plane is very nice visually. and with 13 multiplayer levels it gets my thumbs up !

I remember seeing the beach landing scene on my friend's computer way back in the day...I thought the game would be cool, but after I got to the impossible (yes, impossible) sniper scene later in the game I erased it forever....few Quake3 based games have turned out good, Elite Force and Dark Forces 3 are the only ones I can think of that have been fun. Wolfenstein was...not good, and MOHAA made me angry...I did have fun until that sniper scene though.

The sniper level was hard Reno but I eventually beat it without cheating, although I confess, it was luck rather than skill

there were a few pretty mean levels in the original game, yes, like the snow level, when the computer controlled guys could see through the trees, but a little perseverance worked.

I still rate MOHAA as one of the best FPS made on the PC, even better when your mates come online, had alot of fun hours (well months) with it.

Another level in another Q3 game that was really hard...the one where you had to fight 3 super-nazis in RTCW....MAN, that was just unfair...their sniper rifle miniguns, their perfectly aimed rocketlaunchers, the lightning guns that could go through pillars and boxes...had to trick them by ducking behind a box at long range (they were forced by the crappy AI to use rockets at that range, which I could avoid)...I yearn for the days of the marines and the assassins in Halflife...best enemies ever made.

Anything but hard mode was easy, yeah. But hard mode...man!

Three shots and you were dead as a doornail, and the assassins were killer on hard. You want a REAL hard game, Baldurs Gate one on Hardcore DD rules. MAN...or play System Shock 2 as a Psi character... Jedi Outcast in Jedi Master... counterstrike with 600 ping... hehe

I can't seem to get Spearhead to install.

The install window comes up then another window opens on top of it saying something about a required dll was not found. The installer then closes.

Anyone else seen this? How to get around it?

does your direct x check out fine in the diag?

Yes, DirectX 8.2 installed and working fine in DXDIAG. Also, the MOHAA game works fine.

The demo I d/l'ed from the net was giving me the install problem.

I d/l'ed another copy with P2P and it installed fine.

I'm not much of a PC Gamer but that changed when I jumped on my buddy's computer and had my first taste of MOH:AA. There have been some great MOH gaming moments in my household...like the time I got my dad to play and he played it for a few hours. Even he liked it!!!!

I know that MOH is on alot of peoples Top 10 List...I know it's on mine!
