Omega and Counter-Strike

I notice the newer Omega drivers do not include the old opengl driver which it states in the earlier versions is more optimized for counter-strike 1.6. The new driver that have come out said they do not include this old opengl driver because source is out now, only problem is i don't want to play source. Would the older drivers be better for counter-strike or would the newer ones run it smoother?

i'm not sure i guess someone will have to test them out and see but i would stick with the older versions if they worked fine!
