I've been working on this with some help from various other people that are regulars from here and other friends.

This is not a small package... it'll make majority of any other package available such as the Community Bonus Packs look like just simple Map Packs.

Here's a little info from the readme itself to show that it's been in the works for awhile now...

~~How it came to be~~
A few members of Driverheaven.net decided the Official maps weren't enough.
Even including the Official ECE Bonus Pack and all 3 of the CBPs:
Community Bonus Pack 1, Community Bonus Pack 2 Volume 1 and 2.
We also used CTF4, allowing us the old UTClassic style 3 or 4
Team gameplay, but with CTF and providing Deathmatch as well.
One of the major reasons for making a map pack was to finally make
Vehicle Capture The Flag a reality. We were tired of waiting for
Epic to release a package themselves, and after ECE showed up, majority
of hope was lost.
We all set out to scour the net for old rebuilt Classics to
the new age very creative maps. We tested Virtually all VCTF maps
we could find, they were our major concern at the start. We
also were interested in new mutators, gametypes, custom bots and
link setups for Onslaught maps you name it. Mostly looking for
fun things to play with, overall graphic quality wasn't a concern
at the time. We now strive to make a sleek, professional looking
package that everyone can enjoy high quality maps and mutators,
but still have every ounce of fun that could possibly be squeezed
out. Hopefully we can make every UT2K4 player happy, even if it's
just a handfull of UT2K4 players.
~~Installation~~
-UMOD-
Should autmatically startup after being decompressed and successfully extracted.
Run the UMOD to start the UT2K4 Setup installer. Follow the Directions
carefully for a hopefully flawless install.
Custom Bot & Forced Custom Bot Additionals Install Selections:
The first option HAS TO BE Selected if the second is selected.
The first installs 1 UPL Bot Configuration file, these tell
the game what bots to load up durring Instant Action or while
hosting multiplayer games either via Listen or Dedicated
server modes. IF you selected only the second, you may end up
errors. This is the ONLY concern when using the UMOD installer.
WARNING: In your own player character selection screen, you'll
encounter approximately 32 duplicated models and skins with
differing names. THESE are the custom bots, DO NOT SELECT these
as your character as joining another server will make you appear
as a default character such as Jacob to other players, or worse
case, boot you from the server with model/skin detection and
preventions.
Additionally, IF you wish to have the orginal bots back playing
in the game, go into the archive you had previous extracted this
document, and it's complement of files. Within it should be a
folder dubbed Bot Backups. Read the Bot Backups document if you
wish. COPY ALL files within the folder aside from the document.
Paste them into your UT2004/System folder, REPLACE all files.
Go play!
Lastly, if you play on servers and they all appear to be default
skins such as Jacob, and you don't like it. You can fix this by
copying all the files asidef rom the document to your
ut2004/system folder, replaceing the files. HOWEVER, doing so
will allow the orginal bots to play again. Your choice to have
either one or the other. You'd have to manually copy the specific
upls from your ut2004/system directory to a folder if you wish to
use the custom bots again, before replaceing those files.
-NON~UMOD-
IF you are having difficulties running the UMOD, or you wish to install
it manually or for server use, please follow these directions closely.
Launched UMODExtractor. In the UMOD FILE, load the UMOD you wish
to extract. YOU may have to click OBJECTS OF and select all files.
In the Destination Directory, Browse to your UT2004 Folder
EXAMPLE: C:\Unreal Tournement 2004\
MAKE SURE that there is a Forward Slash (\) after the destination.
NEXT SCROLL down the list to find 2 files under the following:

System\Manifest.ini
System\Manifest.int
UNCHECK these 2 files. Hit EXTRACT CHECKED FILES, wait till this
button is not greyed again, at which point hit EXIT. Play the game!
~~Known Issues~~
Due to the nature of all Umods, the progress bar doesn't always work
"perfectly" nor does the "space Required" information.
Listed under current version is the my approximate space required,
refer to it if you are receiving BOGUS space required information.

OR create a new thread detailing everything you can possibly imagine.
I'll try my best to help you out with your issues. I however
cannot take responcibility with any major problems, you take a risk
using this package.

Well this may be a very very small little detail but i'd love to see the driverheaven logo/name make it into your final release (maybe it already is???). How about as a tag on a wall in an urban environment, on the side of a vehicle or as teamname/armour decal. That would be pretty damned neat.

the hard work has been the testing of maps that are unofficial... i can't take full credit for much of the work aside from testing, fooling around getting things working... then making an ideal all in one package. I myself haven't made any maps.... i made the custom bots and onslaught link nodes...

I should within a good 3 to 4 hour time.. having something to download and run.

Also, in future updates... i will not make a whole entire package required to be redownloaded enless it is specifically related to the install process.... i'll provide patches.. or instructions ( i think i'm good with intructions )

atm, i'm working on compressing this latest build.... it takes a long time to do... and the utility i'm using does a damn good job in comparison to RAR and completely blows ZIP out of the water... it's self extracting and automatically installing so no need to download another damn compression utility.

so far, still looks to be 353mb to download.... However, it's double archived to make it a little easier to upload and or download.. (ZIP files seem to be more error proof for downloading or upload unlike EXEs)

Just a minor concern but will installing this much anticipated pack create any issues with running the original single player game as it was intended? How about it triggering any overly sensitive anti-cheat measures that are built into some servers?

BTW.... here's something of interest...

Intagib4Ever allows you to do shock combos with the instagib shock rifle. Not only that, but allows you to play instagib Onslaught and ASSAULT. if you don't want the combo, you can make it normal instagib or zoom in the mutator config.... So far, it's one of my most favorite and gametype usefull mutators.

PingCompensation2 is a usefull tool for those with erratic or extremely high pings. Point and shoot with a sniper or shock rifle or similare weapon and you should have a guaranteed impact. It's works with Client Side information being sent to the server... and working out the info to see if it's legit. Now i can't say i completely understand this but i know it does help for majority of people. Run it using a dedicated or a listen server and it should make gameplay very fair reguardless of pings within reason.

NoVehicleLocks is precisely what it is, load it up and reguardless what team your one... you can jump in any vehicle. It best used with Vehicle Team or normal deathmatchs... as some maps just don't seem to let you into some vehicles. Makes it interesting on some VCTF or onslaught/assault maps

Excessive has it's own as it's a MAJOR and POPULAR mutator/mod... It itself could be seen as it's own Gametype. Providing some very excellent new features. I'm awaiting 3.02 or whatever version proceeds 3.01 ... nothing like using Super Berserk with Excessive and weapon upgrades... however, 3.01 removed the ability to upgrade weapons correctly with super berserk.

your concern is noted... i've been testing this out for serveral days/weeks/months ...

I've been playing through single player normally without the package and WITH the package and it has NO effect... one of the previous build i had made a mistake in the custom bots that kinda screwed things up.. but i have since fixed the problem...

As for online play, i've yet to run into a problem. I've played on a few dozen servers with Anti-cheat mutators on. Such as TCC. As long as you read my directions related to choosing a character other then the custom bots, you should actually do very well.

IF all goes bad, just uninstall the umod and copy the backup UPL files back to your system folder.

BTW... i've only tested this installation with the following configurations:

UT2K4 with ECE updated to v3339 ~ Worked perfectly.
UT2K4 with ECE updated to v3339 with Community Bonus Packs 2 volume 1 and 2 volume 2 ~ Worked perfectly again. No apparent problems (This is the recommended installation)
Identical to the above only with the addition of Community Bonus Pack 1

Additionally, i've installed CTF4 pack. with no hitches.

I however cannot test without the ECE bonus pack installed as my game comes with it already slipstreamed together.

BTW, i can't be responcible for anything that may happen to you or your machine... but i can try my best to help you through any problems directly related to this package. Just to let you know.

Additionally, i've been running majority of all these maps and mutators on a dedicated server awhile ago. However it's currently down.... i'll be getting one up fairly shortly as soon as anyone willing to try it out and make suggestions.... we can eliminate some maps and possibly add more. BTW... if anyone knows that perhaps an included map has an update. Please let me know.. post a link to the download website. I'll be sure to make changes next version or a patch update.

But a friend for me downloaded from the second link and had the same problem as bake15... download stoped, he is not sure anymore where exactly but he thinks it was about 40MB and he can't continue the download.

i've found a map that trashes my rig at 640x480 with everything set to lowest.... but i want something more.... something someone would load up.. and just sit there with thier jaw on the floor...

i've installed it and haven't had a problem with it. IMO though, it's best to wait for the patch to appear on epics official servers and webpages before downloading it. I've seen some patches for various games being announced.. but never showing up on thier official pages or server due to not successfully passing every single test they had run.....
