Best/Favorite Mods - For any Game (last two years or so)

I got FarCry now and I'm interested in getting some Mods. Also I'm interested in Mods that make games without female characters, have female characters. Any mods with skins out there? I like those too.

So what are your favorite Mods for games like Half Life, FarCry or whatever and WHY are they good/your favorite?

Also could you put links to them (not required of course).

The "Infernus patch" for GTA Vice City, if any body remembers, was rather comical, I found it to be utterly ridiculous, but also barrels and barrels of laughter.

It made the cars in the game go extremely fast when you drove them, and esp. the fast ones, they were virtually uncontrollable!!!

Ofcourse I had to uninstall it in order to be able to play properly, but it was an interesting mod for the game all the same.

Excessive 3.0 with Super Berserk and a few other additives and changed made....

For Battlefield 1942 - Battlegroup 42 - more realism but also more fun than plain ole' nilla BF42

For Battlefield Vietnam - Eve of Destruction - it is what the original game should have been.
