Soooo... finally got round to buying a PS2

So... got one of the perdy new slimline PS2s last weekend... the games are definitely more compeling and fun to play than both Xbox and Gamecube, even if the Xbox has got better graphics.

I'm completely addicted to Ace Combat 5 atm.... I think that the console is worth buying just for that game!

Thats a lot of games to buy for just getting the console. Must have burned a hole in your wallet

I recently picked up Devil May Cry 2 and 3(yeah i know 2 sucks, but i still want to play it) and so far, 3 is freakin insanely evil fun

Also purchased Onimusha 2 and once i beat it, 3 will be a grab. Want to pick up Splinter Cell Pandora Tommorow and Chaos Theory for xbox, since both are vastly superior on it(well SC 1 and 2 are graphically, and same for 3 i think)

God Of War is going to kick ass

Sad to say but i resently start playing with my crappy xbox..i jused to have allt the consoles but just couldent stand the crappy low rez shit to gfx hehe..

But as it is now Pc games is just shite couse all we get are extremly crappy ports annyway..take a look at Driver 3 for example brrr..

The only games worth playing for the Pc was Half Life 2...Doom3 ..Far cry but besides that nothing ..Grrr I hate it just hope it will get better this year and finaly Xbox 2 will get out and then i buy me an nice HDTV set and can atleast get high rez couse all Xbox2 games will run att 720 P yess FINALY

Since HDTV's cost a lot of money, why don't we all just pool our resources together and form a Videogame Cartel and get our goods for the mafioso way!

Seriously, I'd love to get an HD-TV but like, *checks wallet, sees the pits of hell in there, I dont think I want to sell my soul for one.

It all depends what comp you have but sure it will mayby look a litttle bit better the first couple of months but soon after the Pc as allways will have much better hardware

Thats the way it have been and surely allways will be so after 1 year or so Pc games looks much much better

well.... considering the only pcs I have active at the moment are both laptops.... 1 semi-old toshiba with a mobility 7500 and a 1.7kg fujitsu with 64mb dedicated intel extreme graphics 2.... even the original xbox has better graphics than these computers!!!

I still haven't been able to play HL2

.... doom 3 was damn fun though

try onimusha 3, next game you should look out for is final fantasy 12. but those are some serious titles you got there man. for single player, the ps2 does it better than all IMO. its it's lack of 4 players and weak online play.

I recently got Final Fantasy X-2, Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution and Metal Gear Solid 3. I still need to get Gran Turismo 4, Devil May Cry 3, Burnout 3, Mortal Kombat: Deception and God of War. Might even check out Tekken 5, even though i'm not a big fan of the series
