The Sims

The Sims was a great game when it first came out. But, now there have been so many additions and expansions to it; it is no fun anymore. The game gets so boring I can't even bare it. Am I the only one that thinks the sims has been played out of being fun, or do you think that it is still a fun game? What do you think?

From watching others (mainly you

) play the newest addition I can't possibly ever see myself playing the game. The older ones were only good cause you could bring down the entire city instead of one household.

It's fun for a little bit. But after a while it's the mpost boring game in the world.

Well, The Sims is giga-repetetive in it's gameplay...it's only a while before the player realizes this and moves on with his gaming life.

How long it takes that player to realize this however is all up to fate I would imagine. (for me for example , it was pretty quick

)

I don't know why i buy expansion after expansion, but I do anyway. It is a weird thing.

I've wanted to try out the sims, but If I don't like it I don't want to have paid for it.

It is fun for about 5 hours, but after that there is nothing that you haven't done already to do.

I get bored of the game after about half an hour then uninstall it.

Yup, me too. The most unengaging game I have ever installed on my pc.

However, my girlfriend, my sister and my mother can all sit and play on it for hours on end.

This definately seems to be one of those games that appeals to girls and not boys.

probably because there is no action, storyline, fun, or point to the game.....

I've have lots of games I've never finished because I'm board with them, for example Doom 3, the graphics, A+, Design A+, but diversity D-, find the thing, shoot the monster, get the stuff...boring after 10 hours. It's a nice game, but put something in there that will make me want to play it. Like a bonus or free items or something. The Sims gets so redundant I can barely keep my eyes open while I play it.
