Oh man.. I've spent the entire day with this little demo of TrackMania: Sunrise and I had to share this find with you guys! This game is so FUN and has endless possibilities.

What's so freakin cool is you can create your own tracks and since they are tiny files, can be traded among friends. The online multi player sounds promising as well, since you can play custom maps too. The more you dig into the menus and options you'll be hooked.

I'm ALL over this one when it comes out. Looks to be a budget title, but more importantly, FUN to play.

Yup, one of the better cookie cut-out games indeed, the second pic actually had me sitting up in my seat saying to myself "Wooot, that car is actually flying, your cars can actually fly", so I'll probably try this one and see if it's as good as you say...coz really, I'm sick and tired of people saying that graphix make the game....game play makes the game, and that's final, ain't nothing gonna change that.

How many games allow you to make your own tracks and trade them?.. I think that alone is worth the look folks.

Sun_walker is right .. its about FUN GAMEPLAY and this game has it in spades. With all the game types in the demo, you're bound to find something worth your time. Make sure you explore the menus completely to find all the customizable stuff. Camera control is on the keypad. (* will disable the hud)

There is one odd bug with Saitek keyboards which makes it so you can't type in your name at the start which locks you out of the game completely. I found a fix (disable all but one USB Human Interface Device in device manager).

If you can get GOLD in all the different game types and races, you'll be able to make more elaborate tracks in the editor.

Yeah, I found that you can skip most of the map with a jump and didn't find the checkpoint tile until my third map today.

Would the checkpoint tile prevent that 'cheat'? I'll have to test that. I also found you can add islands on the default map as well, which I somehow missed. I wish there was some way to get unlimited "copper", I'm finding that tweaking my map and removing tiles won't 'add' them back into my reserve. Not sure how to track how many 'points' or copper I have left while building. I think some tiles cost more copper then others too.

If the full version is a budget title, I'm getting it just so I can make more fancy tracks with ALL the different tiles.
