What an adventure and story this has been! I'm not finished after a couple of weeks of consistent gameplay.

I just completed the quest to rid Drearing Deep of its evil Vixthar. This was preceded by taking care of the reversed city of the Aerials.

I still have at least two more of the allies to try to reverse before going against the Valsharess herself.

Thanks for recommending this adventure!

(I'm trying hard to finish this before commencing with Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory that I just got last week. Hate to try handling two games at the same time. )

NWN 1 was fun...I didn't even come close to beating it though..I just messed around and killed villagers

the expansions make the game much more enjoyable & add more areas.
actually they just add more of everything.

You have a ways to go yet Dyre.

Me and a friend of mine worked through the whole three games. The only thing that was kind of a letdown was that the second game started over with lvl1 chars. I would have enjoyed it more if it was part of your passage to being epic in the third.

So I see! I did a quick check on one of the hints sites and found out I'm only at the end of Chapter 2!

BTW, I've reached the point of the battle with Valsharess at Lith'Myathar (sp) and think I'll go back and take care of that daughter's mother.

Yes i really loved Nwn and the Expansions
also Community mods are GREAT

I am looking forward for Nwn2 and maybe Jade Empire for PC




I really love Bioware they make excellent RPGs

Do you mean 'how' did I get that stat sheet?

It's in the game. But, since you can only see a portion of all the abilities and skills, I had to do a few stitches after scrolling down.

This is essentially the same character I played in NWN. But, for some reason, without using some kind of cheats or something, the character pretty much starts from scratch even when chosen at the beginning of the new games. I hated losing all my good stuff to that sneaky burglar/assassin at the beginning.

WOW! That was some 'Welcoming Party' the Valsharess sent to greet us after entering the way to the Beholders caves. Humdinger!!! Had to use some of my Resurrect spells on my companion to keep the battle alive.

Finally, was able to put them all down and continue.

Whew!

Ohhh....

Well, that part's easy.

While in the game just press the Print Screen key and it puts a Screenshot in the main NWN folder. The images are created as TGA files that can be edited in your favorite graphics editing program.

Then, of course, it's just a matter of posting and linking to it somewhere to be seen in the forums.

I had Summon Creature VI-item once when I was roleplaying in World of Caenyr. I played shadow ranger(I had guild called shadow rangers once as well), almost the same as a ranger but doesn't use camouflages for hiding for example. Shadow ranger uses shadows and moves in the cities as well, scouting and using opportunities to report all things what he decided to report to thieves guild. I used that creature when not using shadows as my companion when travelling alone in the wilds.

i have not been able to get the print screen thingy to work. obviously i am incompetent as you guys have no problem. please help.

Have you checked the configuration of your Controls? It actually should be set to the Print Screen key by default.

Also, if you used the default installation path it looks like this:

C:/NeverwinterNights/NWN

It's the NWN folder that you'll find the TGA files in....not the first one.

I don't know how many others did this, but, when I first passed through the courtyard on my way out of Lith My'athar, I noticed all those Alchemist Fire kegs stashed around.

"Aha!" I thought to myself.

So, I took the time to place all of them outside the gates in an area that I anticipated would be the stage of the Valsharess army.

It was FABULOUS what happened when the battle first commenced!!

Once the armies arrived the first forces were all gathered around those barrels. I cast Lightning and blew up all the kegs and watched over a dozen enemy foes disintegrate into ashes!!! LOL!

Well, what prompted the thought process was that, when I noticed all those barrels, I thought, Man, I don't want to be standing near any of those when the battle starts.

BUT, hmmmm, I wouldn't mind having the enemy standing near them.
