nvidia gegorce 4mx420 and pacific assault

I purchased a copy of the game Medal Of Honor-Pacific Assault without being heedful of the warning that the card in my computer( Nvidia geforce4mx420 with tv out) was not "fully supported." I installed the game anyway, but it will not run. The on-screen message said the same thing, noting that my card was did not fully use Direct X8.1. The trouble I learned on the Nvidia homepage was that my card does not have full pixel shading. Question: will the appropriate Omega driver work with my card to get the game working? I do not wish to spend $$ for anew card just to play this game.
When I downloaded and installed the newest Nvidia drivers, it made no difference in the game, other than to cause a problem with the usb ports on my lcd monitor:tears: .
Dell Dimension 4550
2.35 mhz
512 mb ram
nvidia geforce 4mx440

No the omegas won't help you, and I doubt you'll ever get the game running on that card, the mx series are so cut down they're not good at much.

This Application emulates the pixel shader.

the mx is too outdated, its only good for games that were released upto 2002-2003. after that its pretty dead. give the pixel shader emulator a try though, ppl have usedit for splinter cell
