Dyre Straits

Some of you may recall that I posted awhile back that I'm working closely with Eric Reuter, one of the original developers of Deep Space Nine: The Fallen, to provide a totally free addon set of missions for the game.

We've been working on this project now for over a year and it's shaping up to be really terrific. I'm serious. Any fans of The Fallen will have a great time playing these professional-quality missions for Capt. Sisko, Lt. Commander Worf, and Major Kira Nerys.

A recent interview done by STGU (Star Trek Gaming Universe) was posted on their site at www.stgu.com. Just look for the interview about Convergence with Eric Reuter.

There are also links to a movie (created by yours truly) and is available in 2 sizes. Those with broadband will definitely want the larger one.

In addition, our project has also gotten the attention of Trek Today. A very nice feature article was posted and is available here:

As mentioned in these articles, there's a 3-mission demo available for download. It includes the first mission of each of the 3 characters.

NOTE: You will have to have THE FALLEN installed in order to play the demo and addon.

If you go to STGU and look at the bottom of Eric's interview, there are two links to the current video. Both are located on FilePlanet. If you still have trouble, I'll see if I can dig up the direct link. However, you DO need to have a Gamespy ID to be able to download them at this time. I'm hoping we can get them hosted elsewhere and will keep you updated if that happens.
