Far Cry graphics quality reduced?

Just been playing Far Cry for the first time in several months. Installed it with the latest patches and using cat 5.3. Doesn't seem to look quite as good as I remember it, but runs much better on my 9700pro. I went from 512mb ram to 1.5 gigs so that may be part of it. So have the graphics been reduced a bit (especially the water) or am I just more blase from playing lots of HL2?

Hmm dont worry man this happend for me too but i soon got adested to the suttulty of far crys seemless and imagative grafics i mean what game has pixel shaders v2 realtime lighting/shadows/phyics/ragdoll and catoon effect in one game not to mention that the gameplay rocks!

It is a very fun game. I am enjoying the second time as much as the first.

Man I love Far Cry... My Friend Had it... and I Played it and man was it Fun I havent Bought it though I wonder how it would look on my LeadTek 6600TD

The Environment was great man That Whole theme was Just Great!

Yea its awsome because its modifed (useing the 1.3t patch) to work with ATI cards better then other games it looks awsome on mine and mines crap!

1154x768x32bit no AA all other grafic options set to max runs 60fps tops and 32average cool hay
