Indeed Zardon, I have had to sustain myself on older PC games (like finally Buying the CoD deluxe pack) recently, theres been so little out there, I hope this is a temporarly lull due to the rush of activity for the Next Gen consoles or the PC gaming market is seriously in trouble

Back on topic, I seen an advert for Area 51 on TV yesterday (the PS2 version), the advert just shouted "GENERIC ALIEN SHOOTER!!!!!!!!!! KILL THINGS THAT YOU'VE PROBABLY KILLED BEFORE!!!" and it looks like I wasnt wrong

I told you not to get it. Still I don't think the graphics are remotely close to HL2 or even Super Mario Kart for the SNES LOL!!!!

Like wasting money on games that are poor? Seriously, read reviews, try demoes, thats what they're there for, a quick search of gamespot or a 10 minute blast at the demo would have shown you that Area51 wasnt great, maybe a rethink of your time is needed?

Know what though: even though Gamespot gave it a 6.9 rating other sites did not (plus, Gamespot is full crap sometimes.. that's why I never trust their reviews.. even if they are right about 1/2 the games they review). The majority of sites gave it a B-, 8.3, 8.8, 3 1/2 stars out of 5, 7 outta 10, 8 outta 10, and so fourth. IGN, for instance gave it a 7.8, but most of its readers gave it an average 8.6. Hell, GameRankings gave it a 9.2.

While I haven't tried it personally, the only reason why I mentioned it before was that is a new game that was out, and from what I had seen review wise (again, cuz Gamespot is full of crap, and I don't trust just 1 reviewers opinion of a game) it looked promising. 'Course, seeing the reactions about the game here, I think I'll pass on it too.

Good point Tipssaff!Reviewers can be baught or sold for a price.Thats 1 reason I read Maximum PC and PC Gamer.If it's a piece of s*it,they tell you.I looked for a review in PC Gamer.Couldnt find one though.

I fully agree with HawgsHead , btw the game is runnung verry good on the new nVidia 77.50 drivers, better than the included drivers with the demo.
