I remember taking my kids to Radio Shack and letting them try out the new fangled Ping Pong on a Tandy computer in the store. Amazing how entertaining it was to see how long they could keep that little white square 'ball' bouncing back and forth.

Me too!!! Got the 8K memory expansion cartridge and the datasette. Omegarace ROCKED on that sucker! ![]() Very happy memories of typing all those basic programs into it from either "Compute" or "Byte", (I forget which, it was the commodore one.), and then the happy hours of debugging to get the games to actually work. ![]() Them were the happy days, back when basic had line numbers and people still knew what a good old "goto" statement was all about.

I'm enjoying playing UT2003 on the internet against other people. The single player sucks, but it's the competition that I like. Enable stat tracking and hit servers--it's a lot of fun!

New Game
Hey Dig, let me know if ya found a good one, I'm running shallow on ideas as well.
BF1942 is a truly great game, but better run on Lan, its fun. I'm not a real big fan of RPS anymore either, no time. Deadly Dozen, I didn't much care for, Splinter Cell has potential, was never a Rainbow 6 fan, maybe using the Unreal engine will make a difference. I'm impatiently awaiting Unreal 2, Max Payne was awesome, I liked the Half Life games as well, seem to have faded away My first home Puter was an Atari 800XL, supplied with Ms. Pacman and DigDug, and lets not forget that cassette backup hee hee
