Knight Rider game is out. The demo is kind of fun and fast!

Michael Knight, Devon, and Bonnie are all included along with, of course, KITT!

NO, there was an episode where a car almost indetical to K.I.T.T was trying to blow up KITT. And then they fitted KITT with a laser and they has to blow up KARR. ANd the chick who fixed the cars had to sit in the passenger's seat and shoot the laser.

I actually do remember seeing just about all the episodes.....

It's just been SO long ago.

OH YEAH!!!! That would be badass.....oh the memories...... I had downloaded all the episodes of MacGyver when I was at school last year......But 13gb was too much disk space...So I had to drop him......

How does the game bring shame to the series? The developers have quite obviously tried really hard to incorporate lots of stuff from the series in to the game.

Maybe the demo sucks (I haven't played that), but the full game has lots of interesting stuff to do, as theres more to it than just racing.

The only real problem I had with the game was that it was quite short, but then it's retail price (in the UK at least) is cheaper than most newly released games so thats not too bad.

The default controls and camera view are a bit duff, but they can be adjusted. The voice acting is naff, but Edward Mulhare is dead and Hasslehoff is too busy being a german rock star.

How far back can you set the chase-cam view and what are the choices? That'd be the "make or break" issue I have with the game, the rest of it felt very familar to me and true to the show. ('Cept all the voices are wrong, I thought I was hoping it was just another case of me ears being too good again.

I reconfigured some of the controls so I can't remember what they were originally, but most of them were the first 3 or 4 letter keys along the Q, A and Z rows.

5 camera views (one of the keys cycles through them (C key maybe) ). I played the entire game using the puzzle view (furthest away from car) as it just "felt" better.

One thing I did read on the Official WEB site for the game is that they had to hire voice actors to mimic the characters. That almost always spells disaster in that department.

Sounds like a 'MUST HAVE' game according to this review

This awakened some almost forgotten recollections - definitely a Must for you, if you watched the show back in 80's, like I did... From the very first moment I've enjoyed this. Not so detailed & complicated & cool-looking as many other new driving games, but fun for "old" Knight Rider -child...

I'm at mission three now. It's good to know there are 14 easy missions, because as a family man I haven't overmuch spare time... Zarthr, your review's excellent!
