Instead of simply porting Far Cry (PC) to the consoles (first there were plans for a PS2 and X-Box version). CryTek decided to scrap the idea of a port and build FarCry Instincts from the ground up for the X-Box. Am I ticked that they did that? No. Not really.

And if you want to blame somebody for the lack of a sequel, you can blame the CryTek and Ubisoft deal which was just to make one game and did not extend to a sequel.

The future release dates I saw a few months ago showed a NEW PC Far Cry game coming by Dec. So don't get your panties in a bunch.
