Now I've got my b/band connection, I thought I'd install RTCW again. Problem is, when I put the disc in to install I don't get the option on the main screen but I do get uninstall. I've searched for any remaining files that may be left after I un-installed it and there aren't any. Help! I wanna storm the beach!

So when you only see unintall, did you select uninstall, and restart your system and try again?
anyways, you can try going into your /SETUP/ folder inside the GAME CD and use that setup.exe file instead of the one out side. |

Thanks! I used the set up file on the disc! I did however find this
2. Issues with uninstalling then reinstalling RtCW: ================================================== = After applying the 1.31 patch you will not be able to use the automatic uninstaller to completely remove the game from your system. In order to successfully remove the game you will need to run the included uninstaller and manually delete the game folder from your hard drive. After you’ve run the uninstaller located in the Return to Castle Wolfenstein group on your Start Menu, follow these steps to delete the folder. These instructions assume the game is installed in the default directory. 1) Open My Computer. 2) Go to the C: Files folder on your hard drive. 3) Locate the Return to Castle Wolfenstein folder. 4) Highlight it and click File, then Delete. |
