Got this email from EA today on their "Pre-Loading" of the upcoming Battlefield 2: Special Forces expansion pack.

I enjoy the city warefare of BF2 (Strike at Karkand and Mashtuur city are fun, fun, fun.). Special Forces will bring more of that, but I don't feel compelled to get expansion unless I know technical bugs involving the multiplayer browser (Ever try to update the list and get nothing?) along with other issues get ironed out first.

sounds like EA's version of "STEAM" LOL

How did I know there would be an expasion pack, lol' Thier game is stilll FULL
price on the shelves and they are already toteing a $30 expansion pack. Keep
in mind useally by time you see an expansion pack the full game is roughly
$29 to $19 . So this is still insane! For a game that still needs patching

not getting this expansion pack TBH EA should have concentrated more on bug fixes for BF2 and possibly a few new maps before the release of an expansion

deffo not on my to buy list

Not to mention that all of the items in this expansion pack were supposed to be in the original BF2...

I know for sure that I will not be suckered again. BF2 has potential, but they need to focus on getting the problems fixed with it before releasing an expansion.

they have not made me want to buy an expansion,i mean it looks really cool but the patches are annoying,i installed 1.03 and tried to join a game and it said my cd key was invalid i had to do a complete re-install and patch,little things like that annoy me,and prolly wouldent have happened if they concentrated on bf2 for pc and not modern combat for xbox and ps2 and the expansion,and i dont feel i've gotten my moneys worth out of battlfield 2,couldent they jsut release most of this in the next patch anyway???

can't even get on to the servers at the moment to download the game.
Doesn't look like i'll be getting my copy by 25 nov

edit: spoke to soon. Just logged in, 7+ hours and counting
