Sad Nothing good coming to PSP for a while..

Is it just me or are there very little to no good PSP games coming out in the near future? Granted, I'm still playing through Grand Theft Auto but still.. this is disappointing.

The thing I don't like about the PSP is it's background turns "pink" in the month of December I think whether you like it or not. This makes me favour the DS over the PSP anyday. That is, unless they've fixed the problem and allowed you to change the background color any time now.

I love PSP Video 9. I've got so many formatted videos since I found that program.
I even have installed a clip for my PSP in my car so I can watch movies in there while I wait for people, have a coffee, etc etc. It's a great multimedia tool but is lacking in the games department.

Now to figure out how to wire it to my car stereo system. I think my MP3 deck has an RCA cord.. I wonder if it's input.

Exactly why I sold mine: The games stink and the future looks weak.

Well there are the few exceptions: Grand Theft Auto, Tony Hawk's, Wipeout, Burnout, etc. but not enough for a guy like me.

I don't think I'll ever stop playing Wipeout Pure, as long as they keep making those downloadable updates of new tracks, music, and ships

I don't own a PSP (yet) , but I recently borrowed one from a friend for the weekend. I have to say that I like it a lot more than the DS. The DS would be better if they just put one larger screen on it.

Anyway, I played Dynasty Warriors, Star-Wars Battlefront II, Coded Arms, Darkstalkers Chronicle, and Tiger Woods. I thought that those were pretty decent games.

I would like to check out Lumines, Wipeout Pure, Ridge Racer, Metal Gear Acid, and that ATF Offroad Fury.

Needless to say, I will be getting a PSP soon enough. Also, I was pretty impressed with the battery life on it. I used it all weekend without having to charge it. The screen, when comparing it to the DS, there is no comparison.

Lumines is like crack.
You take your first dose, think it sucks and put it down for a while.. and then you start getting cravings and play longer and longer, over and over.

You should grab a Nintendo DS.

Mario Kart DS (online)
Tony Hawk Sk8land (online)
Animal Crossing DS (online) (coming out december)
Nintendogs
Castelvania DS
Advance Wars DS
Kirby Canvas Curse
WarioWare: Touched
Mario And Luigi: DS
Meteos

And those are just the super awesomes. There's also a lot of other games that are really fun but not worth the money, so grab em used.

Yoshi Touch N' Go
Pac Pix
Mr. Driller DS
Feel the Magic
Polarium
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney

I've used my DS almost every day for the past 3 months. I can't beat the games fast enough to play the next round of games that I want.

A lot of these games also have wireless single-cart play so if you have friends with DS's (I have 3), even better.

Sorry Andrew, but just by the names of the games the DS pushes me away. Why did Nintendo get into the childrens games market? Bring back PD for DS and then I will buy it. O wait, Microsoft owns Rare now lol. Wonder how the Gizmondo will be, I don't see much about it anymore, is it out?

Didn't anyone tell you not to judge a book by its cover? I'm sorry that you will never get a chance to play some very fine games because they aren't coated in blood and guns. All of those games have at the very least the Everybody ESRB rating which, as the name suggests, is for everybody.

I don't blame you for staying away from Early Childhood rated games because those are truly meant for children. Fortunately, there aren't many of those games for the DS. Just like there aren't many for every other system.

The gizmondo hasn't really gotten my interest yet, I'm not following it.

indeed.... to many people think Nintendo and shortly after think: Kids/childrens games

I played mario bros (NES) when i was 5... today, i'm 21... and i still find the latest Mario pretty damn fun and tough enough for me. Nintendo will always keep what threw them into the light... always.... metroid/mario/mario kart/kirby.... etc. that were exclusive to nintendo, and will always be.

DS had Metroid Hunters and (although i haven't high hopes, Metroid Pinball, which fully effectly uses both screens), metroid alone is definitely not a "kids" game. It just so happens that any kid could play them. Just like any kid could play GTA or Tony hawk.

Not to go too far off topic here, but I have a gamecube and the next game I have to get is that Mario Cart Double Dash, of course by that time they will have something like Mario Cart Triple Dash.

On another note. I have the Mario Games for NES and SNES here. I still find myself going back and playing those games and I remember playing them when they first came out.
