i go out of my way to not play as a russian.i havent played the sp campain yet because the mp has me hooked.for some reason just playing with a weapon with a 71 round clip makes me feel like a noob.also i hope that everybody that uses that damn getto blaster dies in there sleep of something really painfull.lol

Ah yes the great struggle of the Soviet people against fascist aggression. I always felt empathetic to the poor bastards who couldnt retreat and had to follow someone into battle to get a rifle because the shortage was so terrible. If you want irony, play a soviet combat soldier, they were only brave men and women fighting for their motherland in spite of Stalin, I feel compassion and a sense of awe at what they accomplished in light of the terrible decisions that Stalin made. Zukov and his peers managed to bring real tactical brilliance to an otherwise meat grinder approach to their conflicts regardless of the success of their armies. In combat, perhaps the Soviet had no peer on the eastern front.

clearly comrade you have a rather vague grasp of history, that or it is you who are brainwashed subservient prole. Being an englishman i will never forget the sacrifices the american people gave during two world wars, without doubt they got us out of a pickle.
There is not doubt however, that it was those 'commies' dat won the war, more russian soliders were fighting the germans throughout the entire wwII, and more of them died, and thier sacrifices enabled me and my fellow europeans to breath the clean (cough cough) air of freedom. And dont forget that you yanks had the opportunity to destroy communism in 1945, you chose not to, and you funded extreme men an methods in your 'cold' war to defeat them. You even started a war against a nation of people who were ony concerned with thier independence (something you celebrate each 4th of july apparently), thier spritual leader even adressed the league of nations in 1919 about this point, you however were too preoccupied by errrrrr yourselves, history repeating? btw the nation mentioned was vietnam, and its leader ho Chi Minh

Well said! Stalin was an insane bastard no better then Hitler, but the men and women fighting the nazis where amongst the most heroic in the entire ww2...
As you put it Falstaff, most weren't fighting for Stalin, they were fighting for their motherland, and who wouldn't do that?

The russian missions of CoD were the best, how is the feel of the CoD2 missions? I'll probably do some LAN'ing this weekend but haven't tried the sequel yet.
