Is 007-Nightfire worth $20

Just wondering.

I saw it on the shelf at CompUSA for this price. Good 1/12 - 1/18 at this price.

It's hard to say - I have Nightfire, and I must say it is one of the most singularly frustrating and stupid games I have ever played. I will NEED a game guide to get past the first level, as it seems I either missed some important trigger or script, or it is simply scripted badly... However, I have heard great reviews from a lot of other people, so its hard to say if this is just because of my admittedly extremely unconventional gameplaying style... If you have $20, might I suggest instead buying Serious Sam or Clive Barker's Undying (that is, if you don't already have either of these great games...)...

No it's not. The game is somewhat lacking and has fallen for the ole' if we put the james bond theme in it then it's gotta be good right? and sadly it isn't. The graphics are ok but the aiming and realism is poor. This opinion is my own, you may decide to buy it anyway I wish I could get a refund lol.

I just picked it up for $25 but for the PS2. It's not bad, it's an alright shooter and it should be even better on the PC

^ I was laughing so much I couldn't type because of the spasm's and I've only jus' recovered. It was hilariously funny I just mean it's kiddie based, (well on the pc) you have to spray them with bullets before they fall, rather than a nice one bullet to the head as you sneak round the corner like Rainbow or most other shooters like this.

It's medicore at best. Even the MP feels funky. But at $20... it's your choice. If you love FPS games like I do and will go through just about any SP FPS game than you might want to give it a shot.

The AI is no good for a recent game...mostly just a lot of running back and forth .. but the game has at least a decent plotline (unlike the last bond movie) and the multiplayer can be fun. Unlike ToshiroOC I found the game to be pretty singular in direction though. I found you can't really but go where the game wants you to go on a map, needing the sequential gameplay to fit the plot and all. I'd say it might be worth 20 bucks to you to play it once... but it's not the kind of game that'll keep you coming back
