Stuck -- F.E.A.R. Urban Level

I can't remember being this 'stuck' in a game for a long time. But, I've gone everywhere I can think of and get to and even tried to leap across the open area shown in the image below.

Just WHERE or WHAT do I need to go or do? Thanks!

EDIT: Nevermind.

Who woulda thunk it? No leaping involved.

Also, I'm puzzled as to why I can't pick up the blue-striped grenades. I haven't been able to pick these up throughout the game. See the image below. Again, thanks!

Took me a little while but I took a leap of faith in the general direction of the boards sticking out and it worked.

Edit: as for the nades Try pressing the use button and running around and ontop of them. You may just have full nades, press 6 and check it out. Remember you need to press the nade throw button to use them, not fire.

I tried three times to leap across and fell to my death each time.

I finally just shimmied across near those boards at the wall. Didn't even have to leap at all. Go figure. LOL!

As for those blue-grenades: I have the green ones and they work fine. In my #6 slot I have what looks like a joystick but, when I try to use it, nothing happens. Now, maybe, just maybe, it's to activate those little blue grenades???

yessum, One of the few designer details either they messed up on or is something so small no one noticed.

I noticed it because I'm predominantly a southpaw. (I'd be totally ambidextrous if I hadn't broken my right arm just before starting school.

ive noticed that in alot of games that if they have grenades, their shouthpaws.

Well, I just finished F.E.A.R. a few moments ago.

I find it odd that anyone complained about exiting the facility once things got 'hot'.

Anyway, I thought the game was very well designed and kept my interest from beginning to end.
