Problem with Fable !

Hello everyone !

i'm new here !

well my specs are :

ati radeon 9800 pro with latest omega driver 2.6.87
athlon 2200+
1 gig of ram

well i was able to play it very nice before but now it freezes all the time... mostly while i load my savegame .. and sometimes in the game intro movie

i hear a "click" from my pc case just before.. dunno what it is..

maybe something is not rightly connected?
but i unplugged everything and replug and still same problem..
my other games seems to be all working fine.

also i started the game in safe mode but no luck
and also put all the graphics options at the lowest but not luck either

someone know what's wrong?

i don't have the game to check, but it sounds like the game is hitting a hard error, and that it isn't in anyway hardware related, unless it's overheating, which would cause a click and a cold boot.

have you got all the latest patches and stuff?

well no.. no patch and stuff but.. i have this games since a few months.. i finished it..and i been able to replay it 5 hours before this happen..

i've re-install it but same thing... a new fresh game instead of a saved game do the same thing also

I was having the same problem ( except the click noise ) and the only thing that works was to reinstall the game and redo it from the beginning because the saved game folder was corrupted.

in your case maybe a format would do the trick .

well i solved my problem.. the click came from a hard drive.. i have 2 and it wasn't from my master one but the other one so i unplugged it and it did the trick.. no need to re-install windows and all the stuff

just hope it still on the garantee tho

it's a 120 gigs and bought it 3 months ago

Si tu l'as achete neuf il ne devrait pas y avoir de probleme et meme si l'endroit ou tu l'as achete refuse de te donner du service tu peux toujours faire une demande de RMA aupres du manufacturier .

Its entirely possible that you have to scrap your saved game.

edit: Nevermind you fixed it.

Fable PC is such a weird program. So many weird errors.
