New INSANE hirez pack for HL2 out

Well I installed it, then started a new game.. some stuttering, but the main problem is crappy low res textures mixed in with the high res textures. WTF?? What is the point in re-doing the textures when some look worse than original?

Look at the blue train.. looks like crap.
It just seems buggy..

It might just be a fluke. I'll start it up tonight, and see if my blue train looks like a turd too.

Same, I'm re-installing it. Congrats on the avy Nec. BWX, did you mod the original HL2 or make it seperate?

Thanks, so you'll get the facts from two different guys /w different cards. The textures just might be missing for it.

I followed the directions, just put the files in the folder it said to....

So anyway, there aren't textures like that all over the place then? I stopped playing after that because I figured the whole thing was screwed up. Maybe I will keep going just to see what happens.

Make sure that you copy both the the Fake factory and Fake Factory German folder under Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods The add the add on into the folder (not the german one. You should be set then

Not the german one? I thought I read that you needed that in there.. think I had that in there too. I deleted it all though and I am starting over so I'll just make sure not to put it in next time.

oic - In that case I did have it installed correctly.. maybe I had a bad download or something the first time. I am re-downloading everything now.
