Was Call of Duty2....

A really short game or is it just my imagination?

the real question is, how is multiplayer/replay value, when games seem short.

I still play SC:Chaos Theory from time to time, as well as Soldier of Fortune II, so length isnt all there is to a game

Yea things like Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell:CT are relatively short, but they're still fun as hell to play over again

Try playing a harder difficulty level, the game will take much longer. The "normal" difficulty is a bit too easy and lets you get through the game faster than you really should...

I honestly didn't think it was that short. I played in at the hardest level, and after I ironed out a few bugs, I got into it. It was a very rewarding game, and I liked the improvements over the last game. It took me maybe 10 hours, which is average for an FPS.
I don't mind short as longas its a game I can pick up and play after a break. That is just the kind of game that after watching a good war movie, it fun to pick it up and kill some baddies, so its worth the $, IMO

I guess I could agree that the game seemed a bit short compared to what I experienced on the first CoD. However, I have to wonder if that's more due to my more experienced gaming than the fault of the game, itself.

It's definitely one of those games that I'll play again....and maybe again. That's how SC:CT and a few others have been for me. Just can't get enough of it.

However, if there was any real 'let down' for me, it was the way the game ended compared to the first one. When I reached the Finale of the first CoD, I KNEW it was finished as soon as the flag was raised atop the Reichstag! I almost leaped out of my chair in excitement and came close to saluting that flag! LOL It was an awesome experience for me.

Well, now comes the end of CoD2. I'm asking myself, "Did I just finish the game?" Until the Credits began to roll, I still wasn't sure. It just didn't have that 'FINALE' feel to it and I really missed that.

One other downside is the lack of CoOP gameplay. I really wish developers would include this mode of play. It would really be nice to get your buddies together and work as a team against the AI.

But, overall, it is a splendid game.
