Isn't Ultima Online still using 2D graphics? Are you sure that your ping to the actual game world server is 6-11ms? Just wondering because it shouldn't be the graphics that are holding you back.

Hello Again,
Ultima is run in 2D or 3D client. Years ago there wasn't the choice. Then the 3Rd release, Lord Blackthorns Revenge, which introduced 3D Graphics became availible. I've played 3D since ( Hate 2D ). Anyway, I am sure about my info reguarding Ping & Bandwidth. There are multiple servers all in diff parts of the world. So happens there is a Napa Server & i live in Napa. Theres a trace route utility called UO Trace that polls various servers per your choice. I have 12 hops and the range is from 6 to 11. I beleive i have good componets. This is really a frustrating situation. I'm sure all online Gamers can relate. Please if there is any info you might be able to give in reguards to Gaming Performance (Tips) I'm all ears. Thank You for your time |

Good to hear. I was on UO back in its early days and think I used that UO Trace tool wich was reliable. I guess there's some problem between the 3D client and the graphics driver then. For testing, see that AntiAliasing and Anisotropic Filtering is not on in the driver controls or in the 3D client settings if there are some. Also, do you know if this problem has been occurring for a long time or perhaps began after installing a new driver version?
