Fear stutter and hang fix.

Its not a video card/cpu/mem or driver issue.

Its the updates.

As long as you don't use either update the game works perfectly.

Nice updates there they fix the game alright...lol.

Updates Works Just fine...

On an Asus Extreem NX6600GT, no stuttering at all, core/mem @555 Mhz /1.11Ghz,

Driver 82.65 set to High Quality.

Card available in store for a few dime's .

Well, magnus, some more information on your system would help diagnose the problem. How does it crash, at what point in the loading process?

Since the game worked well without the patch, it seems a reinstall of the game, and a repatching are in order. You may even want to download the patch again, as the problem may have been there. Also, if you aren't playing the game online, forget the patches and just play the game.

We have tried it four times and tenn different systems from amd to intel and its basicly the same for most.

Stuttering varies but it would tend to hang in the first level on the stairs to the roof anf if you got past that it would total hang on level 8.

If you check the vu forums it happen on every system regardless video /mem/cpu or power.

Its actually the rare system that the patchs don't cause trouble on and its been rported in this forum also driveing people n uts.

strange, the patches actually made the game run better on my system. Now I actually get a 9-12 fps boost with soft shadows on than when I have them off. guess the only real thing you can do then is to wait for a fix... sadly.

Yeah and it seems to be turning into a long wait.

Still without them and some fooling with the settings the games is plenty of fun.
