NOOO!!!!!!! Microsoft is buying Vivendi?!?

In case you don't understand me shock/alarm/consternation over this, read this blurb from the C & VG article:

I would'nt be at all surprised to see MS dump evey title on the Xbox as an exclusive with a long wait for the titles to hit the pc.

I've been playing D2 and talked to a lot of people close to Blizzard, supposedly this was a prospective buyout...but then again, Vivendi has had offers on it's games division from EVERYONE else to, it's just that Microsoft might be willing to pay the most.

And hey, Mech 4, Age of Empires 2, Microsoft still makes great games, and vivendi is just a money hungry whore. She'll put out to anyone with the most money. Shit, Blizzard is already going console only (Starcraft: Ghost) so it won't change much. Worlds of Warcraft is still PC only, if Diablo 3 comes out...it will be too....and at least Microsoft would force people like Valve and Blizzard to get off their asses, so we get Halflife 2 SOMETIME before computers are replaced by neural nanonics...
