biablo 3....When???????????

i just have a question. when will we see Diablo3 i played d1 d2 and d expantion. so does anyone know when and where. i love rpg's. im playing FFX on PS2 now and i love it. though i like games with sords and magic like d2 more. so who know

Nothing has been said yet, just rumor that they are putting a team together. I wouldn't expect anything for at least a eyar or two.

If you haven't already tried it, and like that style of game play, you can always get Sacred. Its the same thing, really nice looking game and its fun, especially for the price (I think you can get it for like $10, or $20 with the expansion). there is another game coming out called Titan Quest that is very similar, and has modern graphics. Looks real nice in the videos. there is also Dungeon Siege 1 and 2 for you as well. Give these all a shot, that should tide you over till Diablo 3 comes out.

hi guys

i played sacred and it gets boring. if finished ds1 and played ds2 but just when i get far in the game something happens to my pc.(Ati Radeon x700pro thats what pappens). but i still want to finish that game.ELDERSCROLLS: OBLIVION. if seen it in the stores. so you say its good. then im gonna have a look at it. any more games like diablo 2............??

... the problem with D3 is how bad D2 sucked compared to D1. Also the whole blizzard north(the original creators) leaving blizzard due to internal troubles(rumored to be mostly about D3 actually).

My opinion of the company has fallen a long way from starcraft. First ghost taking what 7 years...For an ACTION GAME! Then Wow which was a total nose thumbing at oldschool WC fans (Sure there was humor in the old games, but no, nothing like WOW. WOW is a frigging joke. Its still the best MMO out there which shows you how sad the MMO market is).

In other news, odds are you wont hear about it till few months before the beta of D3.

Theres dungeon seige 1 & 2, those are very diablo-like, and are for pc. Supposedly fairly buggy though.

For PS2 theres Baldrs Gate and an Everquest "Diablo" style game that are both pretty fun.

to msx you dont play much do you. for diablo 2 is one of the most played games today. that game will never die. that game came out about 3-5 years ago and still there is lans that only play dablo 2.....

If you don't mind the online game, Guild Wars is an absolutely fantastic game. While its not exactly Diablo, it is still a great game. You can really play it on any connection (I play on a 56k modem). Im not an MMO fan, and its one of my favorite games, ever. I think if you like Diablo 2 (I am a huge fan), you will like Guild Wars.

I'm very skeptical about the possibility of a Diablo 3. Let alone the loss of Blizzard North employees, but WOW is making ridiculous coin.

5 million users @ $15 USD/month. Therefore 5,000,000 x 15 x 12 = $900,000,000/year in revenue. Thats a game generating a BILLION dollars almost a year. Most of the up-front development is covered by the sales of the actual retail CD. Europe and Asia adoption still hasn't ramped up yet... assume it caps off @ 10 million users over 5 years of consistent play... that's huge profit. HUGE.

Diablo2 is ridicuously popular due to its straight forward gameplay, but also because its FREE for online play. I can't imaginge D3 being free given the cash-cow that WOW is...and frankly if you have a choice between D3 and WOW, its most likely going to be WOW.

If D3 does come along, it won't be similar to the first two games unfortunately.

guild wars is better than wow anyway only way guild wars could be better is if there was bigger citys instead of districts and instead of the party system just have all the players out in the world together......but the party system is fine and its a great game....if anyones looking for a guild leme know =D and guild wars pretty much is diablo 3 because of what uber said,and the fact that alot of people that made diablo now work at ncsoft

Yes, I know it is played a lot(though I would never ever say one of the most played old games considering everquest one still has multi millions of people logged on constantly) but I can bet my left testicle that D2 lovers were not big D1 players.

I played D1 for almost 4 years. D2 was a sad reflection of the style of the first. There was nothing scary about it, the random dungeon system was a lot less random, the clickfest was getting old... and there was a bunch of other crap I hated about it but I havent played the game in the last 5 years so I forget.

I was actually excited about the game till I played the beta. What a slap in the face that was...

i guese everybody has there opinions....but myne still stand that i think d2 is the best ever. yes it has not got a lot of graphic settings and mybe the game gets boring after playing it for a while, but me and my friend have played that game till it came out of our ears.

so for all the D2 lovers out there keep playing your hearts out until d3 comes out. ill be getting that.

PS. msx dude your left testicale is were importend. dont lose it in a bet.....

Dungeon Siege 1 is still better then 2. I was bored from the beginning, while replaying the first one is still alot of fun.
Neverwinter Nights 2 will hopefully be worth the wait. First Diablo game I've played was D2. I hope they make another one. Would be sad to see a death of the series.

NWN 1 was awesome, and the expansion packs were fun also. I'm not really into games with magic I usually use a sword and chop monsters up. If the storyline is good and the graphics are not half bad and its fun well I'm there.
