I'm still working on getting the hang of my XBOX 360 controller on my PC. It DOES take a lot of work and patience to get even close to good with a FPS.

So, I kind of agree that it would be really cool if they could come up with a keyboard/mouse configuration for the consoles.

Black does looks tempting to try .. but I know its going to be a pain to aim and of course the fov will be set at 50 or somesuch crap. Yeah.. its a rent.. we'll see.. By the way.. the new FarCry footage on 360 is awfully fuzzy don't you think?.. The PC version is a lot more crisp IMHO.

Yes but that seems to be the trend nowadays... And don't forget tis early (notice that the water doesn't move at all when staring a bit far!

But my FIRST FPS EVER was on a console so I don't mind at all... Of course, PC is better but since everything is made for the console (everyone uses the same controls and all), it's not that bad and usually, it's just as fun as on PC if not more (coop anyone?

)

I still love consoles with a passion. I mean what else would I do while I'm running, Prime or memtest? That why I have my PSP and Xbox because they are awsome and I can always play games when ever I'm trying to turn my comp into a toaster.

lol I also used to do pushups when the comp loaded up, now it loads up so fast I don't get any exercise : (. That and I play xbox a bit lol.

The movement of the waves are way exaggerated, but I guess it's for demonstrational purposes. A year and a half sure can do good to a graphics engine.

Yeah.. you called me on it.. I do suck with pads when it comes to FPS'ers. I hate having to tap-tap-tap the stick over to a baddie to aim. I end up overshooting either axis and it becomes quite frustrating to me.. HALO was only game I was able to overcome the controls and I got into it more. I'm so used to keyboard and mouse and having my cursor just 'pop' to where I want it.. having to move the pad sticks so precise is a pain for me.

thats actually pretty cool, unfortunately its on the PS2 and I really cant deal with the lego style graphics of that console anymore but lets hope some enterprising companies develop them for the 360.... would certainly make FPS games a whole lot more attractive.
