Bf2 Stutters Like Hell

Why the fuck BF2 stutters so much with my comp , my settings are 1240x1024 and everything high and 2x aa + 100% view distance. FPS are ok , but it stutters fucking too much. Im quite disappointed to that suttering -_-;; , plz help to find out why i got stuttering and how can i make it stutter less , mb some settings are set to too high?

I believe that you need 2gb to be able to run the game on max settings without stuttering/hitching.

well I have 2gb and even then it stutters still. Exspecially if I click the join button too fast, then it just lags out and I need to rejoin the server : (

I have 2gigs also, and i get some stuttering in the beginning of play.

yeha this ia major issue in 1.2. Not only that they never did fix the memory leak in the game that was in the 1.12 version. But due expect a 1.21 soon.

yeah....the patch sucks....but i run bf2 on those settings (highs 1280x1024 2x aa 100% distance) with no shuttering...guess im luckey???

Yes , I have heard that patch sucks and sometimes i disc from the server and that sucks , 1.2 for teh lose

Once you change video settings it helps to clear out the cache folders.

My documents>Battlefield 2>mods>BF2>cache

well aura,the patch deffinitly sucks because it runs fine for me at those settings,our cpus are about even,and your videocard is better did you have shuttering problems before this patch???

Sorry, but I dont know , cos I bought this game yesterday and installed the patch immediately , but many ppl say that this made it stutter more and complaining about it and i also noticed that many have a disconnect bug like me :S hope new patch will come soon

Community Update - 2/20/06

Listen up Troops,

Although patch 1.2 included several fixes that we know were eagerly awaited, it unfortunately introduced some new issues. These are being addressed immediately and we are working around the clock to resolve those. Patch 1.21 (coming soon) will be tested in a limited beta with select Battlefield community members starting as early as this week. We’re doing this to ensure a clean release of 1.21. In addition, we have decided to postpone the Euro Force Booster Pack until sometime after the release of the updated 1.21 patch.

Stick to this web space for additional information soon.

On a more pleasant note, Battlefield 2 hit somewhat of a milestone last night with over 52,000 simultaneous players. This is the highest number of players we’ve seen at one time for Battlefield 2 and almost 4 times more than the peak number of Battlefield 1942.
