BF2 Unlockable weapons question

Well I got to 2 unlockables the other day and spent them on that new sniper rifle + that autoshotgun for the anti-tank. When I unlocked them I played but it only unlocked the Auto shotgun. So my question is (been about 2 days and I still can't use the sniper) Are the P90 + the new sniper part of the Euro pack and that is why I cannot unlock them for SF?

I got the new sniper rifle and that shotgun thing for anti-tank as well. Both of them are unlocked and work fine for me, so dunno, maybe you have a bug or something?

maybe it didnt register that you used your unlock? try spending it again.

Naw its there, in fact in normal BF2 it is onlocked, just not SF... Like it says its unlocked in SF but I can't use it.

A classic EA folly. I have heard of this happening to other people, but unfortunatly cannot offer any advice, b/c i havnt seen a thread where the issue was resolved. I would recommend checking the official BF2 forums, perhaps you can find some info there!

In Classic EA/DICE style its a FUBAR. The 2 new "unlocks" available to SF owners are not IN Special Forces, tho they are Tier 2 unlocks they can only be used in BF2(Like F2000 or G36E)
They led us to believe they were to replace the M-24 and MP-5 as Default Weapons for the SAS but of course they didnt do it that way.
So Basically you have SF you get the 2 unlocks but they only exist in Vanilla BF2.
Make Sense?........

Yeah, I figured that out. So dumb man. I play SF not regular BF2 (actualy not either lately). I 'm kinda pissed I wasted an unlock on that crap though.

If you want to get P90, you must have DAO12 unlocked first. If you want L96A1, you must have M95 unlocked first.
Other classes 2nd unlocks are only for SF.

I didnt unlock the new EF unlocks when i had the chance. But i do notice that in SF i cant use any of the SF unlocks that ive unlocked. Im thinking thats normal though, since half of them are british.

all the SF unlocks are for regular ol BF2 only.

the way it works is that some of these new SF unlocks we got, are actually standard weaponry for the diffrent armies, so thats why you cant always use the newest unlocks.
