Black and White 2, any good?
Well, I'm bored and I want something new. I've never really played this series, but it sounds like I'd dig it. I'm not really into the strategic RTS anymore, they get pretty complicated. My favorite of all games in Dungeon Keeper, and BW2 sounds pretty similar. Am I right or wrong? Anyone played the game? Any thoughts? Is is worth $30 while I wait patiently for Oblivion? Thanks guys.

Honestly it's a very fun game and totally worth just 30$!
 You'll really enjoy it  Just make sure your system is up for it (and by ur specs I think ur safe )

How long is it? I don't play multiplayer too much, so more the single player aspect.

Ohh, I'm getting Oblivion, believe me. I just need something to tool around with at night when I'm bored. I also need something to break the FPS streak I've been on as of late. I might pick it up later. Anyone else like/dislike it?

Look for a good RTS, I'd say warhammer, empire at war (Star Wars), and that C&C pack looks like it would be your best bet. could not think of anything better to fool around at night with. RTS it up, they can be quick or long.I would have to say C&C is ur best bet if u loved the series.

B&W 2 is great. It has alot of short missions so you can play for a bit, then save & come back to it later. It doesn't have a whole lot of stategy to it, but it is very open in how you want to win.
There is no multiplayer, but there is supposed to be a patch out sometime that adds it, just like in the first. |

Well, I just picked up BW2 on my lunch break. I'll get to it tonight. I'm pretty excited, it looks great and is something new. I'll post something of my opinion later.

I got it. The only thing I regret is that I didn't get it earlier (or play the first one). It has to be one of the most fun games I have played in years. It has many of the elements from the Dungeon Keeper series that I love, its doesn't hammer the micro-management like some other in the RTS genre, and its absolutely beautiful. Very charming, I can't wait to play some more tonight. What a unique game, I hope they plan for a BW3.
