Released almost five years ago, Max Payne still retains its status as one of the most revered games in PC history. Why? Well, not only does it still manage to look fairly decent even on a modern system (thanks in the main to having maximum settings that topped out well above anything a 2001 vintage PC could handle), but it is also so damn cool. Payne remains the classic game noir, and was also the first game to employ bullet time. But of course, while it is a legendary game people always want more. And so they made it themselves.

i thought the console versions stunk there was max and the guy with the wolf sidekick i got tired of playing the same game with different skins

I went to store today, i found a cheap 5$ Max Payne discount CD, i RAN home, when i got behind PC, i played for 2 hours straight that Kung Fu mod and it SOOOO FKN PWNED! I'll play some more tomorrow. No time today, though,i so wanna play.
