As promised, the latest upgrade to America's Army: Special Forces is now online, bringing the team-based tactical shooter by the U.S. Army to version 2.7.0. This Overmatch release adds new manned vehicles, new co-op (Interdiction and SF Snakeplain) maps, a new multiplayer Steamroller mission, two new weapon systems, a new Situational Awareness Indicator (SAI), and tons of other improvements and fixes. However, be warned that the immense 2.5 GB download size may make it difficult to download using standard browsers that don't support files over 2.0 GB.

Anyone play this game? I installed 2.6 two days ago and went through the training.

I was a regular player till i sold my graphic card. Waiting for a new one, then I will play again

I played this for a while but i lost interest to quick.The reason is that im nt a online gamer.

I got the download from gamedaily, it is a monster to DL, speed never dropped below 230kbps and it came in within 3.5 hrs, without any problems. the installation was trouble free as always. The new features are excellent, esp the "hummer" a very realistic driving experience with all the blind spots that you do get whilst driving that oversized "landrover." I havn't tried out all of v2.7 yet, as I only installed the new version last night, but it does seem to be, so far, a lot smoother to play than v2.6 and best of all it's "free!"

can't do the hummer training, or connect online. Do I sense bugs?

What seems to be the problem with the training? Is it with the driver training or with the weapon system training?

Do you mean you can't connect online to access your "personal jacket?" Or the servers to play online? If it is to play! Have you enabled "punkbuster" to connect with the online servers?

my personal jacket is fine but I can't connect to any servers

and I'm tlaking about actually driving. I can put my seatbelt on but I can't switch gears or go from lo to high gear. so it just fails me. I've trid re-setting the controls to something else but still no luck.
