THQ's Warhammer: 40,000 Dawn of War - Dark Crusade Reaches Gold Milestone officially announces the completion of the upcoming RTS expansion, as implied in the Q&A last night (story). Word is the add-on will be released on October 9:

Developed by THQ's critically acclaimed studio Relic Entertainment, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War: Dark Crusade is a hybrid expansion to the award winning Real-Time Strategy (RTS) hit Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, and will be playable as a stand alone game. Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War: Dark Crusade is scheduled to begin shipping to retailers worldwide on October 9, 2006.

I am so picking this up. I loved dawn of war and can't find winter assault by itself anymore (though I will pick it up to). I just loved the game when I played the demo.
