Source: BetaNews
_________
Microsoft put the high-definition rumors to rest Wednesday, announcing at its X06 event in Barcelona that the HD DVD add-on for the Xbox 360 will arrive in the U.S. in mid-November at a cost of $199.99 USD. It still has no HDMI though right? What happens when HDCP evevitibly
becomes standard? Won't it be useless? Or will it just have to down convert to a low res?

Lets hope either 1 it does nothing lol or 2 xbox might come out with a HDMI connection.

I think for sure I will buy one. Maybe not on launch day but in the future. I like the way HD dvd is going.
