American Final Fantasy XII leaked

An early version of Square Enix’ highly anticipated Final fantasy XII (US version) was briefly available yesterday in the pirating scene. However, a swift legal action by Square Enix caused the file to disappear from pirate torrent sites within hours. Thus there was no confirmation that the file indeed featured the game – it may just have been a hoax. Some people claimed that it was in English and fully playable, though.

It’s a shame that Square Enix’ hard work on one of the (with all probability) best PS2 games ever was so close to being spoiled by pirates. This incident happened only a few days after another supposed leak, when a Gears of War copy appeared.

im pretty sure it was confirmed to be the final game.

from what i read it is still the final version and playable and its still in circulation
