Video game companies finally figure out that girls can play with the best of them
Source: SFGate
__________ When Jamie Lee started getting serious about video games in the 1990s, she didn't play Quake with the other girls. As it turned out, none of her friends at her San Jose middle school shared Lee's love for brandishing a shotgun and fragging other gamers. "A couple of times I tried to get my friends to play, and they flipped out," said Lee, who is now 19. Lee currently lives with members of an all-female team, Girlz of Destruction, in a video game training facility in Sweden. |
