The Xbox 360 debuted over a year ago and has been readily available in retail stores for quite some time now. There have certainly been a handful of titles that raised the bar for next generation standards, but the 360 never had a killer app, but that’s all about to change. Gears of War is an incredible first person shooter that blends tactical elements with a fast paced, intense experience that simply makes it a must have title for any 360 owner. With its state of the art presentation, cutting edge gameplay style, and extensive multiplayer features, there’s absolutely no doubt that Gears of War will be up in the running for Game of the Year in 2006.

Yeah I agree this game is AMAZING!!!! The game play is a bit short but it's such a fun ass game in co-op mode. You really can't enjoy that many games over live like you can with this one. A++++

I played on Emergence day

This game is absolutely incredible I can't convey enough how much this game gets the adrenaline pumping. Anyone who's served in active service will know the feeling of dashing from cover to cover, peeking round corners. I was breaking out in sweats jumping out of cover and firing off a few shots then ducking again. My life is now divided between this and oblivion. Im a happy gamer at the moment.

This game has really blown me away, don't remenber having this much fun playing a game in a long time.

I totally love this game, the graphics are amazing and if you have surround sound and a good ole subwoofer... z0mg its sick. My couch is stained with you know what from this gaming scaring the crap outta me
