Canadian Wiis Selling Out Fast

Wii consoles have been selling out across Canada, with Nintendo of Canada admitting they are struggling to meet the high demand for the new console. Apparently, the company has yet to even start their planned TV advertising campaign - to avoid advertising a product that consumers won't find in stores.

However, more units will be shipping to stores over the next few weeks, which will hopefully satisfy the demand of gamers - and already interested non-gamers - who have registered interest in the next-gen platform.

I recently noticed this..

PS3s are lining the shelves while the Wii is pretty much in limited or no supply. How ironic.

PS3 was in low supply to start, and Wii launched with several more yet wii is sold out while PS3 is sitting on shelves.

haha... someone that bought the PS3 for 15k could have driven to saskatoon saskatchewan and bought 15k worth of PS3s for 649.99
