Nintendo's Wii console goes on sale in Japan on 2 December. There are already reports that Nintendo fans are queuing outside electronics stores to be sure they can grab one of the coveted consoles.

However, few stores look like they will open at midnight as many gamers have pre-ordered their console so they can be sure of getting one.
