Interview: Advertisements Coming to CS
Source: CS-Nation
__________ In-game advertisements are coming to Counter-Strike 1.6. Go ahead and let that sink in a bit. CS-Nation has the exclusive first interview with Valve's Doug Lombardi about this upcoming addition into the Counter-Strike world. Last edited by Iria; Dec 9, 2006 at 07:15 PM. |

Advertising is not cool at all.
You have to provide your own server to play CS... makes no sense at all to make us look at ad's. Companies are (all) just greedy. |

I had to add my 2¢ because I think that this is insane. Valve is not paying us any money (that are hosting private servers) so why should we host ad's for them (for free) on our dollar?
I think, at best, the ad's should be something that are optional or Valve should be willing to pay each server owner a little $ to host their ad's. |
